resetting netwerk interface to bring the server back online

The repeater has no option for it.
Tested with port 0 but then is just start it on a high port

made a special build, set port to 0 and webio is not started
Then you still can set your settings once using port 80 and set it to 0 to block the later access

Settings are saved in the %appdata%\UltraVNC folder on the viewer PC.
This allow to have different connection for each pc tou connect to
LOCALHOST-5900.vnc
MYREMOTEPC-5901.vnc

Open the viewer, just add some fake servername, goto options and uncheck copyrect and save
Then you will find an extra file ...

Check the Log tab it indicate the used config file:

@Ivanhoe: UltraVNC SC 1.6.2.0-dev: Default settings to ask password has been changed and UltraVNC Viewer listenport is used.

Still in the ultravnc.ini file.

The default location of this file has changed to %ProgramData% but there is a fallback system.

If you open the About window, the config file location is indicated.

When you start UltraVNC Server as normal user you can't control any applications started with run as admin.

To be able to control that program:
- UltraVNC Server (winvnc.exe) needs to be started with runas admin
OR
- UltraVNC Server needs to be running as service

2) When this folder is not writable, %appdata% is used
3) when this folder has no write access %TEMP% is used

Can you also provide the UltraVNC Viewer display settings?
There are a lot of options.

What do you want 2x 2K displayed on 2x HD resized or with scrollbars?
Are you using the DDEngine, should be indicated by the Viewer?
